Angul and Talcher form Odisha's coal, aluminium and power belt, with an aluminium smelter and captive power complex, thermal power stations, steel and ferro-alloy plants and a new Aluminium Park for downstream industry. We manufacture and electropolish SS 304L and 316L pipes and tubes and supply the clean-utility, DM-water, sampling and laboratory lines of these plants, and the contractors who maintain them, with MTC EN 10204 3.1, 100% PMI testing and a measured Ra report on every order.
Angul is in central Odisha, and with Talcher it forms one of the state's main industrial belts, which the state's minerals department describes as thermal power, aluminium, coal washeries, ferro-alloys and coal mines. A national aluminium producer runs its smelter and captive power plant at Angul, and a large private steel maker also operates here. The state's industrial infrastructure corporation is developing the Angul Aluminium Park jointly with the aluminium company, with a first phase of about 223 acres, to attract downstream and ancillary units, and a larger area of about 400 acres has been proposed.
A word on fit. Aluminium smelting, coal mining, thermal power and steel-making are heavy processes whose main lines use carbon steel and specialty alloy, and aluminium and alkali services can be unsuitable for 304 or 316. Where we're useful is the small set of clean lines inside those plants (DM water, boiler-feed, sampling, instrument and laboratory lines), the utilities of downstream units in the Aluminium Park, and the fabricators and contractors who maintain the plants.

Instant dimension calculation and Ra unit conversions for engineering procurement
Oils, cutting fluids and drawing residues are completely removed first. The finish is only as good as the chemical preparation.
Where weld heat tint or surface oxide is present, it is etched and activated so the pipe surface electropolishes uniformly.
The pipe acts as anode in an electrolytic acid bath. High microscopic peaks dissolve first, levelling the surface and stripping free iron.
The chromium-rich passive layer is stabilised per ASTM A967 / ASTM B912 to prevent future pitting and galvanic attack.
High-purity deionised water rinse removes all electrolytic residues, followed by hot air drying, capping and clean poly-sleeving.
