Jharsuguda is western Odisha's aluminium and power town, with a large aluminium smelter, a cluster of steel and sponge-iron plants, thermal power stations and the Ib Valley coalfield and refractories belt around it. We manufacture and electropolish SS 304L and 316L pipes and tubes and supply the clean-utility, DM-water, sampling and laboratory lines of these plants, and the contractors who maintain them, with MTC EN 10204 3.1, 100% PMI testing and a measured Ra report on every order.
Jharsuguda sits in the north-west of Odisha on the Howrah–Mumbai rail line, near the Chhattisgarh border, and the state's minerals department lists it for aluminium smelting and coal-based industry. A private aluminium smelter is the district's best-known plant, and the pollution-control board's records list a string of iron-and-steel units at Hirma, Lahandabud, Sripura, Badmal, Kelendamal and Katapali, some of which are noted as not in operation. The Ib Valley area, around Brajrajnagar and Belpahar, adds thermal power, sponge iron, refractories and coal mines. The state's industrial infrastructure corporation runs a Jharsuguda Industrial Estate, and has listed an office tower at Jharsuguda among its upcoming projects.
A word on fit. Aluminium smelting, steel-making, sponge iron, coal mining and refractories are heavy, dry or abrasive processes whose main lines use carbon steel and specialty alloy. Where we're useful is the small set of clean lines inside the smelter's and power stations' utility blocks (DM water, boiler-feed, sampling, instrument and laboratory lines), and the fabricators and contractors who maintain the plants.

Instant dimension calculation and Ra unit conversions for engineering procurement
Oils, cutting fluids and drawing residues are completely removed first. The finish is only as good as the chemical preparation.
Where weld heat tint or surface oxide is present, it is etched and activated so the pipe surface electropolishes uniformly.
The pipe acts as anode in an electrolytic acid bath. High microscopic peaks dissolve first, levelling the surface and stripping free iron.
The chromium-rich passive layer is stabilised per ASTM A967 / ASTM B912 to prevent future pitting and galvanic attack.
High-purity deionised water rinse removes all electrolytic residues, followed by hot air drying, capping and clean poly-sleeving.
