Sago and starch plants wash, slurry and clean constantly. A smooth electropolished interior (Ra ≤0.4 µm) leaves less for starch residue to cling to, so CIP cycles clean faster. 304L is usually right here, and we'll say so instead of pushing 316L.
Salem's textile processing needs reliable process-water and chemical-dosing lines. Tell us the media and temperature. We recommend the grade and flag any limits (no hydrofluoric acid).

For food duty, finish is half the story. The other half is how the line is installed: dead legs, welds and cleanability. Electropolished tubing helps, but it needs proper installation to avoid mechanical surface damage.
