Electropolished Pipes & Tubes Manufacturer and Supplier in Guntur

Guntur is the centre of India's chilli trade and a major cotton, tobacco and spice-processing city, with a government-backed Spices Park near it. We manufacture and electropolish SS 316L and 304L pipes and tubes and supply Guntur's food, paste, sauce and oil processors and fabricators directly, with MTC EN 10204 3.1, 100% PMI testing and a measured Ra report on every order.

Electropolished Pipe for Guntur's Industrial Belt

Guntur sits on the Krishna delta's southern edge, and its trade centres on chilli, cotton, tobacco and other agricultural produce. The central government approved a Spices Park for chilli at Guntur, on about 125 acres in Venkayalapadu and Maidavolu villages of Edlapadu mandal, with plant and machinery for processing chilli and land allotted to exporters to build their own units. The state's presentations list a Spices Park at Guntur among its commodity-based food parks, and a Guntur textiles park and garment units add to the district's industry. A mega food park is also listed at Karlapalem village in Guntur district.

A word on fit. Drying, cleaning and grinding dry chilli, cotton ginning and tobacco handling are dry processes and don't need electropolished pipe. Where we're useful is the wet side of spice and food processing (chilli paste, sauces, pickles and edible oil), steam and wash lines in processing plants, and the fabricators who build the equipment.

Chilli paste, sauce and pickle lines

A smooth, passivated 316L interior that rinses clean and resists acid, salt and brine.

Steam and wash lines in spice plants

Smooth, passivated 304L for sterilisation, wash and clean-utility lines.

Edible-oil clean side

Process water, condensate and hygienic transfer lines, once we've checked your media.

CIP and SIP lines

A smooth bore cleans faster and drains better, which matters for caustic and acid wash cycles.

Fabricators and equipment builders

Cut-to-length pipe with heat-number traceability for the shops that build food and spice-processing equipment.

New-build plants

Local Buying Notes for Guntur:
  • Chilli pastes and pickles are hard on stainless. They are acidic and salty, and chlorides plus acid attack 304 by pitting. For paste, sauce and pickle lines, 316L is usually the safer grade, and 304L suits steam, wash water and dry-side lines. Tell us your product and CIP chemistry and we'll confirm the grade.
  • Oleoresin and solvent extraction need other materials. If your plant extracts oleoresin with solvents, the extraction lines aren't a fit for electropolished pipe, but the clean utilities and finished-product lines can be. Send us the line and media and we'll say honestly which it is. Avoid hydrofluoric acid and abrasive slurries.
  • Exporters are audited. Spice and food exporters face hygiene and traceability audits from overseas buyers, so every order ships with heat-number traceability, a measured Ra surface report, and passivation and ferrite records. These support your own audit file but don't replace it.
  • Cotton, tobacco and dry chilli grinding aren't the target. Those are dry processes. We'd rather tell you than sell you something you don't need.
  • Guntur has many local stockists, and we're not one of them. At roughly 1,030-1,130 km, freight is a large share of any small order. For a few plain lengths, a local dealer will usually be cheaper. We're the better choice when you need a measured Ra, heat-number traceability, a particular size or finish, or the full document pack.
  • Send the whole requirement at once. Consolidated orders spread freight better. If you also buy for Vijayawada, Hyderabad or Nellore, send the requirements together and we'll quote one consolidated dispatch with one document format.
  • If your project has a fixed date, tell us when you enquire and we'll say plainly whether it fits.

The 5-Step Electropolishing and Passivation Process

01

Degreasing and Cleaning

Oils, cutting fluids and drawing residues are completely removed first. The finish is only as good as the chemical preparation.

02

Pickling / Activation

Where weld heat tint or surface oxide is present, it is etched and activated so the pipe surface electropolishes uniformly.

03

Anodic Electropolishing Bath

The pipe acts as anode in an electrolytic acid bath. High microscopic peaks dissolve first, levelling the surface and stripping free iron.

04

Passivation Stabilisation

The chromium-rich passive layer is stabilised per ASTM A967 / ASTM B912 to prevent future pitting and galvanic attack.

05

DI Water Rinse and Drying

High-purity deionised water rinse removes all electrolytic residues, followed by hot air drying, capping and clean poly-sleeving.
