Super Duplex 2507 (UNS S32750 / EN 1.4410 / SAF 2507) is an ultra-high-strength, highly-alloyed dual-phase stainless steel seamless pipe engineered for the most aggressive offshore, subsea, and sour chemical processing environments. Its chemistry features 24.0%-26.0% Chromium, 6.0%-8.0% Nickel, 3.0%-5.0% Molybdenum, and 0.24%-0.32% Nitrogen, achieving a Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN) ≥ 42. This heavy alloying delivers exceptional mechanical properties: a minimum yield strength of 550 MPa (nearly triple 316L and double 2205) alongside supreme resistance to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion, and sulfide stress corrosion cracking (SCC). Sakshi Forge manufactures Super Duplex 2507 seamless pipes via hot extrusion and cold drawing, followed by stringent solution annealing at 1025-1125°C and rapid water quenching to prevent embrittling sigma and chi phases. It is the material of choice for subsea umbilicals, offshore firewater lines, sour gas flowlines, and seawater reverse osmosis systems.
