253 MA (UNS S30815 / EN 1.4835) is a high-temperature heat-resistant austenitic stainless steel seamless pipe specifically micro-alloyed with rare earth elements (cerium, 0.03%-0.08%) alongside elevated silicon (1.4%-2.0%) and nitrogen (0.14%-0.20%). The addition of cerium dramatically enhances oxide scale adhesion, preventing protective surface scale from spalling during severe thermal cycling up to 1150°C (2100°F)-a major vulnerability of standard 309S and 310S heat-resistant grades under cyclic temperature conditions. Furthermore, nitrogen and high carbon (0.05%-0.10%) yield high creep-rupture strength, allowing thinner wall sections under structural loads at elevated temperatures. Sakshi Forge manufactures 253 MA seamless pipes via hot extrusion and cold drawing, followed by solution annealing. These pipes are widely specified for industrial furnace rollers, calciner pipes, waste incinerator ducting, burner nozzles, and cement kiln equipment subject to intense thermal shock.
