13-8 Mo (UNS S13800 / PH 13-8 Mo / EN 1.4534) is an ultra-high-strength, premium double-vacuum melted (VIM/VAR) martensitic precipitation-hardening stainless steel seamless pipe. Engineered for the most demanding aerospace, defense, and subsea structural applications, its chemistry consists of 12.25%-13.25% Chromium, 7.5%-8.5% Nickel, 2.0%-2.5% Molybdenum, and 0.90%-1.35% Aluminum. Through VIM (Vacuum Induction Melting) followed by VAR (Vacuum Arc Remelting), 13-8 Mo achieves extraordinary micro-structural cleanliness, eliminating harmful inclusions and directional weaknesses. Low-temperature age hardening (precipitating B2 NiAl intermetallic particles) yields tensile strengths up to 1450 MPa (210 ksi) and yield strengths up to 1350 MPa (195 ksi), combined with superior fracture toughness and outstanding resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC). Sakshi Forge manufactures 13-8 Mo seamless pipes per AMS 5629 and ASTM A564 standards, supplied Condition A or pre-aged (H950, H1000, H1050, H1100, H1150) for critical aerospace landing gear hydraulics, missile structures, and subsea shafting.
