SIIDCUL Haridwar: A Multi-Product Estate Near Delhi NCR
The Integrated Industrial Estate at Haridwar, developed by SIIDCUL (formerly SIDCUL), the Uttarakhand industrial development corporation, sits beside the BHEL Haridwar complex and has built a reputation as a multi-product estate within reach of Delhi NCR. SIIDCUL's own material lists FMCG, automotive and pharmaceutical manufacturers among its occupants, including a large contract formulation manufacturer and personal-care producers.
Haridwar's hygienic-tube demand therefore comes from two directions: pharmaceutical formulation, much of it contract manufacturing for other brands, and FMCG - personal care, food and home-care products.
Contract Formulation: Many Products, Many Changeovers
Contract manufacturers run a large number of products for many brand owners through shared equipment. Changeovers and cleaning validation dominate their working week, and each client's quality team may audit the site. Electropolished product-contact and CIP lines earn their place by making cleaning faster and more repeatable from one product to the next.
For purified water, the usual pattern holds: 316L throughout, SF1 for an ambient loop, SF4 electropolished for hot-sanitised loops and critical points of use. Because several clients' auditors may review the same water system, consistent documentation - 3.1 certificate per heat, PMI per length, Ra report per electropolished lot - saves repeated questions.
Personal Care and FMCG Lines
Creams, lotions, shampoos and gels are viscous, often contain surfactants and preservatives, and leave films that rough steel holds on to. Product-transfer, mixing-vessel and filling lines in 316L with a smooth internal finish clean faster and reduce the risk of microbial contamination between batches. Food and beverage FMCG lines follow 3-A practice: 304 for most duty, 316L for salty or acidic products.
Utility lines - chilled water, compressed air, general process water - do not need a hygienic finish, and we will say so rather than quote electropolished tube where it adds nothing.
Automotive Plants in the Estate
Two-wheeler and vehicle plants in the estate do not use hygienic tube in their process. Paint-shop deionised water and laboratory utilities are the exceptions, and certified 304L with a standard finish usually meets the need.
Delivery to SIIDCUL Haridwar and Bahadrabad
Haridwar is a long-haul road delivery from Mumbai; dispatch and transit are confirmed in writing with each quotation. ICD Dadri, about 200 km away, is the nearest listed container gateway for export-bound material.
