Electropolished (EP) vs Mechanically Polished (MP) Stainless Steel Pipe
Electropolishing removes a thin surface layer electrochemically, levelling peaks and leaving a chromium-enriched passive film. Mechanical polishing only abrades the surface. If your specification says "electropolished", a mirror-polished pipe does not meet it.
